relapse-prevention-care-servicesPsychiatric rehabilitation or psychosocial rehabilitation is a process of re-establishment of the individual who has psychiatric disability back into the community. The aim is to provide a goodness of fit between person’s environment as well as his ability to cope with that environment. Our services combine biological treatment, independent living, psychological support, social skills training, vocational rehabilitation and facilitating access to leisure activities. Also the goal is to challenge stigma and prejudice associate with psychiatric illness so that society is able to accept patients more willingly.

These services are tailor made for each patient involving collaborative, person directed and individualized approach. Psychosocial Rehabilitation can consists of eight main areas of work: Psychiatric (symptom management); Social (relationships, family, boundaries, communications & community integration); Vocational and or Educational (coping skills, motivation); Basic Living Skills (hygiene, meals, safety, planning, chores); Financial (budgets); Community and or Legal (resources); Health and or Medical (maintain consistency of care); and Housing (safe environments).
