Established in the year 2007, we “Shanti Home De Addiction, Mental Health Clinic & Psychiatric Rehabilitation” are a group of Mental Health Professionals looking after the critical need for adequate and quality Mental Health Care. Providing psychiatric care while integrating with Psychological & Social Support to both individual and family, the services offered by us include Indoor and Outdoor Psychiatric Treatment, Psychological Intervention Services, Psycho Diagnostic Lab, IQ Assessment Services, Personality Assessment Services, Child Guidance and Adolescent Clinic, Sexual Dysfunction Clinic, All type of Psychotherapies, Convention Center for Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) Meeting, Relapse Prevention Care Services, Yoga Therepy Services, Special Learning Disability Clinic & Mental Retardation Clinic.The involved operations are led under the leadership of Dr Manish S. Kansal (Sr, Consultant Psychiatrist). Under his experienced guidance and approach, our team helps in understanding and providing solutions for Psychiatric and Psychological problems. Started with Acute management unit at ‘Shanti Home De Addiction, Mental Health Clinic & Psychiatric Rehabilitation’ in East Delhi, our consistent approach has helped us to grow to our present status as a 12-bedded exclusive Psychiatric nursing home licensed by State Mental Health Authority, Delhi. Presently, we offer specialized treatment facilities for all psychiatric illnesses as well as other substance use disorder. Other than the above mentioned facilities, we have also launched 35 bedded Psychiatric Rehabilitation unit at Greater Noida (NCR) for short as well as long term stay of chronic psychiatric patients.
Further, we also offer comprehensive treatment package for patients who have alcohol and drug dependence through liaison with self help groups like AA (Shanti group).
Today, with gained experience, we have also extended our services towards providing treatment as well as support to elderly people suffering from dementia through our unit Saarthi and Draupadi Devi Memorial Trust in collaboration with Eisai Pharmaceuticals (Japan).

- For Chronic psychiatric patient after doing the initial work up for biological as well as psychological problems we make the treatment & rehabilitation plan according to him/her.
- We try our level best to rehabilitate the patient back to the community
- It comprises of bringing patients face to face with reality of disease The goal of intervention is also confrontation, breaking through feeling of denial and helping patients recognize adverse consequences likely to occur if disease is not
- This is done for control withdrawal and washes out substance from the system
- Withdrawal occurs because brain is physically adapted to presence of particular drug and cannot act adequately in its absence (biological withdrawal)
- Psychological withdrawal will be taken care through different kind of counselling and psychotherapies
- Counselling deals with how to build lifestyle free of alcohol/drugs
- Focusing on day to day life issues to help patient maintain high level of motivation for abstinence and enhance their functioning
- In case of other mental illnessess counselling of the patient for development of insight into the illness and compliance for the treatment. Counselling of the care givers in form of psycho education and treatment plan.
